Alright, now let’s discuss “Zog and the Flying Doctors”! It’s such a sweet, animated film adaptation of a book by Julia Donaldson, who also wrote “The Gruffalo.”
The film is about Zog, a nice dragon, and his best friends, Princess Pearl and Sir Gadabout, who are flying doctors. They fly around saving creatures who are ill or injured. I absolutely loved how nice and considerate they were, doing their best to assist all people, even when things got complicated. The animation is cheerful and vibrant, and the characters are really hilarious. It also has a great lesson about collaboration and assisting other people. One aspect that I disliked a little less was that it’s quite short of a film, so it seemed to have ended rapidly.
If you enjoy other animated films about helping others and being friends, such as “Trolls” or “Paw Patrol,” then you’ll likely enjoy “Zog and the Flying Doctors.” It’s less action-packed than some superhero films, but it has a light and lovely tale that’s well-suited for a relaxing movie night.
