Abominable (2019) on IMDb

With the voices of Chloe Bennet (Marvel’s Agent’s of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Sarah Paulson (American Horror Story), Albert Tsai (Fresh Off the Boat) and Eddie Izzard (Cars 2), this DreamWorks animation brings you a magical adventure as three teenagers embark on the journey of a lifetime.

A teenage girl called Yi (Bennet) discovers a Yeti on the roof of her home. Realising the Yeti needs to find his way home, the two form a bond and with the help of Yi’s two friends set off to Everest to return the mysterious creature back to its own habitat.

The group are pursued by a rich businessman, his zoologist and their team of sunglass wearing henchmen, who would like the creature for their own prestige and financial gain.

Abominable is an enjoyable family movie with some beautiful and colourful animation. The story moves quickly keeping both children and adults engaged. This is a great Sunday afternoon film for all the family.

Abominable is available on digital 3rd February 2020, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-Ray and DVD 10th February 2020 from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment.

Like most people I watch movies and TV to relax. I usually manage to watch between 3 and 5 movies a week and like to have a couple of series on the go at the same time to break things up. Yes… I do have square eyes!
